I was disappointed. While it did somewhat cover the evolution of some of the characters, and the actors portraying the younger versions of those characters were well done. The story seemed disjointed and slow. So slow that when the original series theme music began - at the end of the movie, I was upset and unsatisfied. I’d say 50% of the movie was unnecessary and the other half was just okay.
