This movie started off dull, but by the time the first familiar songs started to be played, you couldn’t help but be intrigued. The ups and downs, the sheer emotion, the tears and joy, were all conveyed brilliantly! You felt for a young Elton John as he struggled with his identity, sexuality and inner demons, and the moment you realize he conquered, you can’t help but cheer. This movie alternately has you dabbing at your tears and jumping from your chair to dance! Would 100% recommend!
