A great read. The stories are amazingly inspirational, beginning with clutching the device meant to prevent conception. The bible story references are quite relevant and summarized in an easy to understand manner. My take-aways were: 1. Don't take anything in life for granted. There is value in every experience or encounter and 2. Establish what you stand for and be courageous enough to live accordingly.

In the midst of great devastation it is very easy to look at what is no more; what was lost. However, this book brings a message of hope. It helps the reader to take a different look at adversity. It encourages the reader to look for the good, especially in difficult circumstances. Hurricane Irma was very destructive. It made a great mess of the Virgin Islands, taking all the material possessions some people owned and wreaking havoc on the minds of almost everyone. Yet, as was brought out in the book; once there is life there is hope and great things can come out of unpleasant situations. A great read!!!
