I need the makeup and costume team to put in a bit more tlc. The actors don't look homely enough to be living like they are living in the real world and when they transition into the sim character the costume and makeup isn't grand enough to have me convinced that Flynn is seeing herself as a better version of who she is in the real world. Justice for Chloe. She deserves a better hair and makeup team with a more sophisticated wardrobe.

I was okay with it until Epsiode 5, The Good Brother. I’ve not read the novel, but this episode turned me off from the show because of how goofy it is.

Sure. But it’s not really a crime show. This is a family drama with a crime subplot. Also: murdur durdur

Oh so wholesome! The competitors are kind to each other. Learning and helping as they go along, but keeping the competitive spirit. The judges are honest and give good advice to the cooks. I feel like I’m a part of the show when I’m watching. Can’t wait to try some of the things I learned.

This is a must watch movie. It discusses the topic of the difficulties that women experience growing up. Putting focus on issues that are often overlooked and ignored. It’s an emotional look into the personal perspective of a young, poor, black girl who tries to express herself by mimicking what she sees represented in our media.
