Mark Hall

I love Kevin James and I think he was trying to cast off his stereotypical comic persona by attempting to play a hardcore escaped prison skinhead, but unfortunately he’s still Doug just during a bad dream. I really don’t think he should have picked this script to try and breakout of a successful run of comedic movies. Aside from Mr. James, the movie was just plain bad. Kind of a Rob Zombie take on Home Alone. The plot was shallow and predictable and the acting was unconvincing. The violence was over the top as was the graphic content. I would not recommend this to anyone. I only gave it two stars instead of one because of my long-standing regard for Kevin James’ career. I guess every actor deserves to do a flop now and then.
