Boring boring boring boring boring is all I have to say about this movie, it is full of glaring plot holes and seems to have been written by a high schooler at best. 1. The part with the special agent and the entire scenario surrounding that aspect of the movie was pointless, it didn’t add anything remotely of value to the movie and only contributed in dragging on this boring show for even longer (maybe they might implement this into the next movie but I doubt it) 2. Antagonist is extremely dry as a character, most great marvel villains are fleshed out and given a purpose for their cause, instead it was just a weak convenient excuse of ‘taking over the surface world’ 3. Cause of complication was extremely avoidable by any sort of semi-intelligent sentient being, I don’t understand how a ruler of ‘the most powerful nation on the surface world’ somehow believes that indulging the whines of a spoilt narcissistic brat to save some random engineer/mechanic they met like for 1 day is more important then the longevity of their nation 4. Major major plot holes throughout the entire course of this movie, the people of Wakanda are obviously aware about the avengers, (general compares Namors strength with the hulk, why not give a quick shout for some assistance from your deceased kings companions. Acting overall varied, but still a decent proportion of the cast underperformed to the degree that watching this just felt bland. Exceptions are the actors for Okoye and M’baku, a decent amount of their comedic scenes landed for me. CGI could have been improved, but I don’t really expect much from marvel nowadays so it is what it is. Overall a draggy film with a underwhelming plot and largely dead cast, hoping to profiteer from Chadwick’s passing which itself is a huge disappointment.
