I hate this game. Ninja Gaiden meets Dark Souls sounds amazing on paper, but this is just awful. This game is too hard to the point that it feels like Sysiphian torture to play it. After my 700th death at the hand of the second boss in the game, I gave up, deleted the game, and never looked back. I hate this current trend of making games that are frustrating to the point that they aren't even remotely fun for casual gamers, and no, I'm not going to "get gud". Gaming is casual entertainment for me, not a lifestyle. It's such a shame because I love the Ninja Gaiden series and I was really looking forward to an action RPG version of it. The developers clearly put a lot of thought into the battle system and the many many options for customization, but it's all wasted because the game is unplayable. This game sucks, dark souls sucks, and Bloodborne sucks. I'm done with this whole genre for good.

I really don't understand the decision to remove items and Muramasa's shops from the game. It's a REALLY bad decision that kills any incentive for exploration. The only collectables are scarabs which just give a little bit of XP (snore) and the skulls which send you to a tedious and impossible endurance round. I found myself just ignoring them. I don't know what they do and I don't care. It's not worth the frustration. This game feels like a hack and slash version of a track shooter. The QTEs are annoying and often get you killed simply because you have no idea what the game wants you to do. I don't like the wall climbing mechanic either. It's overused and not very good to begin with. The place where the game shines is the combat. It's fast as lightning and feels less cheap than previous games. The ultra cheap undodgeable boss throw attacks with a hitbox of 90% of the arena are mostly gone thank God, but the inability to manage your health coupled with the now useless magic system set it back a few notches. The ability to play as Ayanne is a big plus, but again, outside your control. The end result is a game that feels much more empty and stripped down than it's predecessor and a step back in almost every way.

This book loves to dangle large, juicy carrots in front of your face and gets you all fired up, but you'll soon realize you have no idea how to get started and those carrots are just as hopelessly out of reach as they ever were and this is just more brain washing by the same people keeping those carrots from you. The big secret? Start a business. That's it. No real advice on how to do it, just a lot of pretentious hubris from a man who rode the 90s dot com bubble to wealth and couldn't repeat that success today if his life depended on it. The reality is 99 percent of people who follow this advice will be worse off and struggling to maintain a business that makes no money for years while supporting it with their retirement savings. To use the book's own fast car analogy, here are the keys to the Ferrari, the problem is it's trapped under 15 feet of snow in the middle of a minefield and you have to dig it out yourself with a teaspoon while dodging live land mines. Have fun!
