Disney movies always had a way of eliciting an individual's inner childish self and capturing them in the net of adventure and fun. This movie was an excellent reproduction of the 1941 classic in terms of the plot and animation. However, the movie somewhat took away the attention from Dumbo, and instead focused it on the family. The actors are very emotionless and its somewhat cringe worthy seeing a little girl act like she is an all knowledgeable scientist. Furthermore, I was very disappointed to see that there would be no interaction with the elephant and the mouse as this would have served very entertaining. Personally, I would love it if the characters could talk which would have added to Dumbo's cute personality.
