Haiden Dobson

I'm not usually a fan of period dramas but nothing gets me more excited than a murder mystery. This series certainly has changed my mind about the genre. I didn't like Pride and Prejudice but this series changed some points about it. It wasn't overly romantic and stuck to the drama really well. The reveal was totally unexpected and the 3 episodes were definetly enough for this. Wickham's characer was both annoying but also interesting in a good way. There is still romance but they managed to balance that with the drama. Only 4 stars as I felt like we could've have had more character backstory on some characters but overall a good series. Would recommend it totally.

While the performances were great and the story was interesting, I felt there were too many plot holes in the show. Whether they weren't allowed to include details or not, I was left mixed. So this series only gets 3 stars out of 5. I feel like if they had two more episodes, there would have been more time to clear things up.
