I must agree with Alvarez. It occurs as very ordinary. The principle characters are not bold, even knowing they are domestic characters.
It is a film. I wanted Adela to be stronger, more transformative.
Perhaps, I am not sensitive enough as a North American woman, but there are many other ' foreign' films that touched me much more.
