Somehow I doubt we'd be getting as many 5 star reviews had the main protagonists been fat sweaty old middle aged characters rather than the beautiful people! Same boring old formula - sex sells! I think we already knew from episode 1 where this was heading. A somewhat predictable tired plot. And let's not forget the equally tired and cliched parody of the Christian faith! Evidently little research was done. If channel 4 wants to be authentically cutting edge then give us a drama that doesn't always rely on sex to bolster the viewers ' interest. Getting tired of these unimaginative tropes. Pretty sure this drama is best received by frustrated menopausal women and creepy guys. If I were one of the actors in this I'd probably want to keep it off the old CV. The peeping Tom is not the creepiest person in this drama. The ones he's spying on are far creepier. He might be the most stupid though. Seriously, an entire stair lift was installed while he was still in the house and he yet he was completely unaware of this. Bit of a stretch eh? So Alan's disabled wife gets a stir lift installed yet miraculously gains full control of her legs thereafter. You couldn't make this stuff up - but evidently you can! What kind of viewer can suspend all reason and logic then go on to give glowing reviews?

You really need to be prepared to look past all the plot inconsistencies if you want to have a chance of enjoying it. There seems to be a very unnatural sudden break up in the relationship rather than one that's getting gradually worse as the relationship develops. She has every opportunity to rid herself from this abusive relationship but for some bizarre reason she decided to maintain contact. Her first chance to escape was when her work colleague offered to put her up in her own flat. She decided against this on the basis that her boyfriend would come after her friend too, so she wants to keep up the charade so as not to alert her boyfriend. She didn't want to raise any suspicion for fear for her life, but strangely she still decides to go to the police! The plot and the logic gets very muddled in episode 2.

Lennie James is a fantastic actor, drama writer and director, so I'm somewhat surprised by his embrace of all things woke and the same old sickening tropes. Perhaps best exemplified by his lazy, tired parody of Christianity. It's a reductive, passé and superficial view of a faith sincerely and intelligently held by millions. I've yet to see any TV representation of Christians that doesn't mock for cheap comedic effect. Perhaps he's simply not forward thinking and brave enough to attack Islam or Rastafarianism etc al. Or are these toes he'd really rather not tread on? And tell me why he trashes the value and societal influence of marriage and family. Or perhaps marital unfaithfulness should be beyond criticism so long as one of the cheating spouses is gay! Cheating on your spouse and family should never be extolled as some moral virtue or made light of to garner cheap gags. And before you proclaim this view to be outmoded let's hope the partner sitting on the sofa with you right now isn't having it away behind your back. Beware - the statistics are impressive! The rest of the cast are fairly pedestrian. The acting range in this show goes from impressive to wooden and ham acting with everything in between. You've drunk the koolade of wokeness, Lennie. And I've absolutely no doubt that the feeble minded, unsophisticated and unthinking viewing public will blindly chug down that very same tasteless drink! Why bother thinking when you can just laugh and mock eh? Not too far away from the bigotry of the old 1970's sitcoms!

Don't particularly like the guy or his music but it's always interesting to peer voyeuristically through the window of another person's private life. That being said, I can't help but think he's continually acting up to the so called fly-on-the-wall filming. He's not stupid, he knows exactly how to engineer how he appears when the camera's pointing at him. Call me cynical but he presents a faux vulnerability that may fool some and garner sympathy. I'm not naive enough to believe much of what he says and does. However it is interesting just how and what he chooses to "reveal" of his life - even if what he reveals it's a big act! The discerning viewer will come away from this documentary with at least one truth....that Robbie Williams continues to have a massive ego. Perhaps he should be pitied for that, who knows?

You could easily omit the first 70% of the film and it really wouldn't matter. It's about as gripping as a politician canvassing door-to-door. It takes tremendous skill to be able to turn a powerful story into a totally insipid one! The film was unnecessarily long, the acting weak, the casting uninspirational. It lacked any real drama. If you find yourself half way through the movie expecting the second half to get much better - don't bother. It's all pretty rubbish. It's a real shame, the movie makers had the perfect opportunity to highlight sexual abuse in the workplace but failed miserably

Big fan of Martin Freeman and his style of comic acting, but I really need to drop a few stars for the gratuitous language. Even worse - really offensive language in front of young kids! Symptomatic of the moral decay of today's society I suppose. A clever writer is able to convey humour without constant swearing. I can't comprehend how viewers can be so nonchalant with so much swearing in front of kids by giving 5 stars. God only knows how these reviewers bring up their own kids. You'll reap what you've sown I guess! Hilarious comedy it may be at times but I won't be sticking around to find out. "Motherland" does it so much better!

Somewhat hyperbolic to title this documentary an "odyssey". There was barely anything that we hadn't already gleaned from them TV news and the press coverage. It was as superficial as Biden himself. Very disappointing to learn that it wasn't as well balanced as other political documentaries. We learn little about Biden as a man and as a president. What it certainly does show the viewer is just how Biden's physical and mental health has deteriorated significantly in the few years since becoming President. Thankfully they have managed to ditch him before he does even more damage - both on a national and global level. There's nothing cutting edge about this film or the man himself! Disclaimer: I have absolutely no affiliation with be the Democratic Party. I do have a brain though!

Tries to be edgy but fails miserably. Parodies left right and centre. As a collective performance it was wholly unimaginative, trite, contrived and predictable. Little more than a high budget soap opera unable to initiate drama much less sustain drama as the series progresses (or regresses ). It might gain a few more positive reviews among the easily-pleased unsophisticated viewing public, but other than that this particular "drama" is best avoided. You will indeed be shocked - not by the plot but by the weak performance of the actors involved!
