Not often do we see a Hindi movie being remade in south India, nowadays. The Tamil version of Vicky Donor, Dharala Prabhu marks a fresh concept in Kollywood!
Takes a little time to settle, Dharala Prabhu will be a fairly engaging watch, thanks to the great chemistry b/w Vivek sir and Harish Kalyan. The character arch of Vivek sir is praiseworthy. The way his character deals with humiliations, which it faces from its nature of work, was well-written. Apart from the last 20 mins, the movie keeps you engaged. Of all songs in the album, Unnal Penne by Inno Genga is catchy! Had they presented the pre-climax portions a little engaging and the music been good throughout, the film would have been a great watch!
