The horrible special effects especially when it comes to the water and submersible scenes was cringeworthy at best. Nick Cage's less than stellar acting reminded me of Robert Deniro's attempt at being a drill instructor in MEN OF HONOR. Mario Van Peebles should have used a better special effects team to make this realistic especially when the subs surfaced from the water IT MADE ME WANT TO TURN THIS MOVIE OFF. THANK GOD I ONLY PAID $3.99 TO BUY THE MOVIE.......Now I see why its so cheap. To be fair the rest of the movie was good when it came to the romantic and party scenes it was wonderfully done. MVP......YOUR SPECIAL EFFECTS TEAM NEEDS TO BE FIRED !!!!!!! REMINDS ME OF THE 1950-60'S SPECIAL EFFECTS WHERE YOU SEE THE WIRE FOR A FLYING SPACE SHIP.
