8 episodes is not a 'season' by anyone's standards first of all. Second, this was no cliffhanger. The show just stopped right in the middle of it's run. Episode 8. A typical show runs 15 or 16 so literally mid run at episode 8. Even the RARE short 'season' is 10 episodes.
If I am the only one who see's this then I may be crazy but until just now, so for about two months, I have been waiting for this to finally finish, but I just Googled out of frustration... Obviously, this is not going to happen.
And this is EXACTLY why I never, ever watch a drama as it is being released in it's real-time episodes. I've done it two times. This was one of them and both on Netflix. I will never do it again. It's like starting a really great book and some jerk tears it in half while you were asleep and steals the last half but you had the only copy too.
Life's too painful as it is to let Netflix put more cracks in my heart... Netflix has a small influx of new K-Dramas coming in BUT I won't even consider looking at any of them until they have fully completed their 'season' loading, even if I am one of the people who actually wrote them a lot about getting MORE KOREAN material!!! Yeah, thanks for bittersweet gifts...
As for the drama itself, it was lovely. It's been so long since I watched the last episode though that I'm not sure where it left off except they were in a car. And I was stunned when there wasn't an episode 9 right after 8 ended. THAT I remember vividly... that angry sad feeling, and then the waiting... lol sighhhhhhh
