Anybody still watch Manifest? I originally watched it because of the intriguing premise but now I watch it because it is so absurdly bad it’s a train wreck and I can’t turn away. I guess whatever works for the producers. So in a recent episode a guy escapes from a cave after being trapped by snow and ice in a blizzard. He crawls to a cabin in an almost frozen state and is rescued. He reluctantly returns to the cave the following day with one of the main characters and there is barely a trace of snow on the ground. In fact they forgot to even make it appear to be cold out. I guess they couldn’t afford a continuity person. So I just watched the latest episode in which the authorities are trying to locate a bomb planted by terrorists. They finally do locate it in the last couple of minutes of the episode and of course it is in Times Square. So they send the bomb squad to cut the red wire (yes it is actually a red wire) but here’s the thing. It’s Times Square, mobbed with people. So what do all the people do as the bomb squad approaches the bomb? Any guesses? Ok I will tell you. THEY CROWD AROUND THE GUY CUTTING THE WIRE and watch. Thank God the red wire was the right one.
