Ad Astra is a huge disappointment. It has no connection to believability, plausibility, or veracity to known science.
If you saw the previews and thought you would get something like 2001 or 2010, or Gravity, or Deep Impact, save your money. It's Indiana Jones in space without the fun and without the charm.
If you like James Bond, maybe you'll like it though. I've never been able to watch more than five minutes of James Bond, so there you go.
