It's an alright move. Just alright. It's just a wasted opportunity. They just kind of jam the turtles into a C+ level Batman story. The turtles act and are drawn all goofy and over exaggerated like Teen Titans GO! Lots of weird squeals and poses like they're teen girls in a Manga. Lots of really bad sitcom jokes. I.E. Alfred doesn't like skateboarding in the house and Batman is too uptight to enjoy pizza. Just in case you were wondering how by the numbers generic this time waste is don't worry, they manage to shoehorn in Joker for no reason. Because apparently you're not legally allowed to make a Batman anything without the Joker and Harley Quinn in it. They even included yet another Commissioner Gordon joke about how Batman leaves suddenly and Gordon doesn't like it. That gag is even better the 500,000th time. What's that? Is Arkham Asylum inserted into the story? Maybe in a way that includes something happening to all the inmates that would set them all free just in time to fight our heroes? Of course it is because this is just the most unoriginal thing Warner Bros Animation has made in years. (And yes the fight at Arkham takes place in way where Batman identifies each criminal and gives background on their powers while fighting them) Oh and even though Nickelodeon is involved this ain't for kids, there's swearing and gruesome bloody murders. So I could keep complaining but trust me unless you are a 16 year old boy who has never seen anything Batman related before skip this one. Its poorly drawn, badly scripted and completely pedestrian. A huge disappointment.
