Friday afternoon at the flix โฆ a dark, absurdist comedy "French Exit" โฆ author, Patrick de Witt, also wrote this literate & engaging screenplay โฆ but I found the cinematography, or was it the projection?, rather gloomy, especially for the interior scenes โฆ I'm giving it 5 stars, especially after bingeing out on the dank & violent offerings on pay TV.
