The series flags for me as it goes on, especially when it really forces in the love story plot. It felt really forced to me and wasn’t interesting compared to the game or Janice/Fredwynns stories. Also, I didn’t really get the whole mystery aspect related to Clara, like how it just petered out and the explanation was unsatisfactory. And the final episode… guh I hated it so much. It’s so pretentious on the part of Jason Segel, trying to have his Charlie Kaufman moment. God it irritated me so much and really changed how I view the whole series. The performances of Sally Field, Andre Benjamin, and Eve Lindley are great. I had no idea this was a real thing until reading other reviews, which irritates me more because this series could have been a whole lot more interesting.
