I liked Away better, but this definitely pulls you in as it progresses into exactly what this other life might be out there... I will definitely watch Season 2. I love how William (the ship board AI) is depicted... similar to Dark Matter, but very different is a really interesting way. By the end of Season 1, I was committed to the characters -- good and bad.

I loved this series. It is gritty and real, exploring deep realities of living in space and sustaining complex relationships through time and tremendous distances of space that threaten to collapse all the loved ones who are being tested and strained by circumstances beyond their control. And of course, circumstances that cannot be fully calculated as fragile human lifeforms who are the first bold explorers of our home solar systems. Definitely worth watching!
