Maybe I've been out of the Diablo scene too long but if you're like me and expect D3 to be like the hack and slash, skill trees and talent points stay away from this one. The graphics are worse than I remember and they did away with skill tree and talent point based progression, it's mostly done for you. In short, not happy, even worse can't return it.

As a preface, I'm crazy about the first game. That said, you have to leave that behind to really enjoy this one. I gave it one star for it being game that isn't terrible to play but coming to it from the first it didn't deserve that.
Spoiler alert (I'll get hate for this....)
Ellie is all grown up, almost into a butch.
That sassy, helpless, confused and strong little girl is gone. Replaced with Ellie the masc-lesbo who is super withdrawn and moody. I won't even get into them pushing drugs and other stuff. Clearly an agenda.
They really left emotion at the door for most of this game. It got me once (you know, the big one) but thats it. I hate this feeling of being estranged/apathetic toward the characters I loved from the first game.
It seems to me they spent more time packing this animated and interactive movie with PC garbage than they spent on the game mechanics.
They just went too far in ways they shouldn't have and not far enough in ways they should. Don't think I'll come back for another game.
