I think the Beatles would be tickled to death at this. Clever idea, cleverly done without trying to out beatle the Beatles. Appealing characters easy to identify with. Mckinnon was spot as the over drive, turbo charged, after burning top drawer agent and manager. The final resistance to unearned riches and fame is a story worth repeating often. The underlying sand papery love story takes a bit of back and forth to achieve a nice finish but worth it in the end and the music just keeps on playing a life track that is perfect.

Thought it was one of the best movies I have seen in 20 years. Excellent performance by Taron, his portrayal of Elton John was simply smashing. I have had the pleasure of seeing Elton John in concert and Taron nailed it. Just superb. Not for the kiddies but suitable for all beyond that. Just wonderful 9.999 out of 10 for me.
