my daughter took me to the Hampton court show on Tuesday and we were lucky enough to catch Mark Lane who was recording for the programme Having had a stroke I am now confined to my scooter for any distance.I mentioned to Monty at the Malvern show a few years ago that there were a number of 'disabled' gardeners that needed help ,so thank you for listening and helping us. The tools Mark uses were available good garden centers or on line. I was interested to rad a distant relative of Monty 's was one of the early Plant Hunters.I have enjoyed reading a book on the subject and have wondered whether the subject would make a good winter programme for Monty ,when we miss Gardeners world. We enjoyed the Italian and Japanese gardens greatly. My favourite to follow Monty ,no hurry would be Nick Bailey. We join many others in thanking you all for our regular viewing.
