"Success is not final; failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts."
- Winston Churchill
Legal Eagles by Indu Bhan.
A book that not only give us insights of the lives of the most prominent lawyers of India but also tells us what made them strive to achieve what they are today. Be it Harish Salve or Mukul Rohatgi or C.A. Sundaram or the others respected lawyers mentioned in the book, they all had a system, a system fair enough to keep them on tracks. They all believed in the greater good rather than satisfying themselves in small pleasure they had every now and then. A common thing which we could see in all of them was that they all are the people of principle who are hardworking, self righteous and firm believers of the truth too. They all started as a fellow junior lawyer who would sit around and jot things down for their seniors and occupied themselves with the knowledge around them in the mean time. They all had a habit of briefing every case they did in their life till now. In addition to this, they never took a case which they were unsure about but then when did take a case, they would not stop until they did their best in that which shows that when we take upon something we have to give what it takes to be the best out there. This book is specifically for those who are confused about the ways the society works or what it takes to be an advocate or who simply wants to create a mindset.
