I promise you, I am not exaggerating when I say you will not regret watching this anime. It's genuinely my favorite anime of all time, and I've been watching anime since I was in the 4th grade. The artstyle might put you off, but it's one of the nost charming things about this masterpiece. In a lot of anime, they won't let their characters be ugly or make ugly faces, but in here, so many of the characters are consistently ugly and its genuinely refreshing. The animation is wonderful, it's so beautifully unique and I am in love with it. Mob, the main character, is probably one of the most relatable characters I've ever seen in an anime. He doesn't have any big aspirations, he doesn't use his abilities to his advantage, and he more so sees his powers and a nuisance. He knows social skills are way more important than being all powerful, and his relationship with Reigen was amazing, genuinely one of the best master-student pairs I've ever seen. The sub AND dub are amazing, the timing, the humor, the emotional scenes, the action scenes... They're all perfect. I've rewatched this so many times I've lost count. It is such a unique story within a sea of similar or identical animes that it stands out the most to me, even after watching some of the most mainstream animes. The anim for this anime is way too low. fairly mainstream, but the lack of hype for it is insane, considering a lot of people also consider it one of the best animes they've watched.
