This film was a disjointed attempt at being edgy with unfortunate continuity and in-universe errors that prevented me from ever being able to engage in suspension of disbelief. From Pattinson’s physique paired with the feats of strength written into the script to his ability to seemingly teleport his Batmobile mod-shootout into the scene, to somehow bring his motorcycle up to the top of a building after the events of the film’s final battle sequence, to the director’s desire to have him creepily stalk the Catwoman. I see what it was TRYING to do. But it failed on so many levels for me. This came across as the Emo Batman who’s secretly just misunderstood. It doesn’t work for me. It comes across as too heavy handed and too poorly thought out in direction and writing. Still, my hat goes off to every actor for making the best of a subpar script and subpar direction.

It wasn't a perfect game by any stretch. And it lacked some of the seriously impactful moments (in a positive sense) that the first had. However, I understand this is all by design due to exploring the theme of hatred and how it can consume everything only to leave everyone with nothing. It's a good story overall, and it's very "real". It won't make you feel good, but neither was the first. It won't make you feel "whole", but it will make you feel. My hat goes off to Naughty Dog for another well written game. Minor Spoilers Ahead: With that being said, I caution an initial knee-jerk reaction by players. If someone gets no 'justice', in your mind, consider if that was lazy storytelling or the entire point of the story. This is not a melodrama in which all loose ends are tied up; this is instead a very real story that has much of the messiness of real life including the unsatisfying conclusions from some perspectives.
