Personally I was looking forward to the reboot. I loved the original series, especially the first 3 seasons. I was looking forward to the positive pro woman message it would send. The message to me was loud and clear and over the top frankly. I mean "shut up white man."? Can't we be strong and proud without being belligerent? I am half Asian and my husband is Caucasian. My son doesn't look Asian at all. Watching this show makes me feel like the message is future generations should disrespect my son because he is a white male. The original Charmed cast was very strong willed and the sent a very positive message of empowerment to women, and they weren't offensive. I don't want my daughters to watch this show and that makes me sad. I am going to buy the original Charmed boxset and let them watch that instead.
