This is the sort of movie that really sucks you in. A really masterful portrayal of the romantic gangster era, this is a great film to watch as an experience. However, the length and breadth of the movie requires a commitment.

One of the most underrated DreamWorks films, this movie has a great sense of energy. Its fast pacing, engaging characters, and continuous stream of jokes lead to a fun, light-hearted experience, and a very satisfying watch. Despite this, the storyline and characters are surprisingly mature, and the emotional beats really hit hard. Its a tremendously endearing movie, and a great film to watch if you just want to have a good time.

Simply put, this film gets almost everything right, from the fantastic performances, to a simple but compelling plot, to the visually vibrant aesthetics. The featured song is a perfect fit, and while not being a comedy, the humor is mostly spot-on. While it isn't a masterpiece, it doesn't need to be. It's simply a fun and enjoyable movie that still hits its emotional beats well, and the ending is stunningly well done. It is a movie that never talks down to its audience, and is enjoyable for kids and adults alike. I highly recommend
