Thank God for fast forwarding! I lost interest in this show even before it had gone half way in the first episode. I totally missed the humor. The writing just drives me up the space ship wall. Had it not been for casting Kyle Bornheimer, I would have stopped watching altogether. I saw Hugh Laurie on Graham Norton talking up this mess. The "humor" seems to be from some public school locker room. Why did the beeper go off after a baby was born and "upset" the number of occupants of the ship? Why didn't it go off when the three are launched into space? If they fixed the count of occupants then, why didn't they think about fixing it again when the baby was born? If there are 5000 minus 3 plus one on board, why are we stuck with these same obnoxious people? Do the writers really expect us to believe that there is enough food and water production on board to feed 5998 people for 3 years? Waiting for HBO to announce cancellation.
