Terrible acting by mush-mouth dean. He was excellent in rebel but not so good in giant. This movie does not stand the test of time at all. Rock Hudson and Taylor do stand out and deliver great performances in a poorly timed movie and poorly written script. Some scenes are actually painful to watch.
