This movie was a disappountment. The motivations of the characters, and premise so relevant to current climate never really fully surfaces. When it could have been poignant. The professor is plagued with ghosts of his past and unresolved issues, but scarcely addresses this until the very end as he was writing. The student was very deceptive but it's never clear to the audience just how cunning she really was. Although the professor as the adult needed to take the fall, he never even stood up for himself with his wife, his daughter or his peers. In the end, I have no idea which author is credited with the book entitled "Eggs"
