My first Bill and Ted movie was Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey back in the year 2004 when I was 6. It was on TV and when I stumbled upon it, it was already halfway through. Nevertheless, it didn't take me a long time to realise that I was most frustrated to have missed the better better half of what was to become one of my most favorite films of all time. And towards the end, when the Wyld Stallyns played Kiss' God Gave Rock 'N' Roll To You II, that moment turned out to be most emotional for me, and marked a major foray into my falling in love with Bill and Ted.
Of course, I had to watch the first installment, 'Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure' and ever since, through the years, I have watched the two films over and over again with such fascination, hoping, praying and keeping my fingers crossed that there would be a third Bill and Ted Film. You can imagine how most exciting it was to realize several years later that indeed, my prayers were answered, and in the most excellent of ways.
I just watched Bill and Ted Face The Music last night and here's what I have to say about it: it was most bodacious. Period. That's why I give it a 5 star rating, and WARMLY RECOMMEND it to anyone. You're gonna love this. I promise.
In THE wise words of William Stanley Preston, Esq. and Theodore Logan, "BE EXCELLENT TO EACH OTHER, AND PARTY ON DUDES!" ๐ค
Thank you, Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter! You will forever be loved.
