Please please please, can William and Kate produce a film. Of brain injured people who live in anxiety stress worries, cannot stand unorganised situation, causes severe stress when faced with these situations. Rely on others for all tasks which involve organisation eg.
Dressing cooking, going out going travelling alone. These are just a few
of the nightmares brain injured people live through on daily basis. Plus
of course PTSD tinnitus plus anxiety mixing with other people who were
once such good friends keeping in touch with family is a nightmare for
them plus 100s of other symptoms which almost turn them into recluses.
My so suffered a severe brain injury almost 9 yrs ago. He fell through glass panel on a balcony in Australia. He can walk talk hold a intelligent conversation. If you didn’t know what had happened to him you would not
know but I’m his mum I can see the turmoil that goes through his head. I even feel it or just know he will not cope with this situation at all. Suicide is
often in his head. He is on strong painkillers. He did not just suffer brain injury but managed to smash every bone on his left hand side.
My ex husband my son’s father feels if he gives him strong talks motivational talks then everything will be fine. My son cannot work. He is constantly exhausted. Organising times and places with him do not exist.
Due to meds his start to the day is usually 3/4hrs spent on a toilet.
Some kind of film needs to be made for all who are with watching someone with invisible illnesses due to brain injuries or mental health problems that cannot be seen or understood.
Thank you so much.
