The question last night on the "Crusade" (Spanish Armada) was totally unfair and I am not surprised that no one got the answer. Officially the last crusade was in 1492 when the Muslims were driven out of Granada. The only reference to a Spanish Armada crusade was
Sixtus V allowing Phillip II to collect a crusade tax from his people. Sixtus V gave nothing UNLESS Phillip II landed on English soil. You really stretched on this one! Spanish Armada was in 1588. Am ecoming more disappointed with the show. Ken is an intelligent and fine man, but hosting isn't his greatest moment.
