I loved the ending. And I'm glad Netflix didn't ruin it. Sometimes we're just in love with the idea of being with someone rather than the person themselves. The person that - you know, that perfect person you've made in your head... it doesn't help you see the love that's already there. Because it's pretty hard to destroy that "image." Reality needs to slap in your face. Repeatedly.

I think Ranbeer's character was just quite selfish. And not like selfish generally.. But selfish in Love. And honestly I think that's the worst part. Ranbeer constantly pushes and shoves Anushka throughout the Film.. which can be counted as borderline violence ( I know it's not exactly 'violence' but it's still just disrespectful on a human level — don't we become 2x gentle when it comes to a Lover? ) whenever she doesn't respond to his 'love' — although she loves and respects him deeply as a friend. Even when Anushka gets like freaking cancer.. Ranbir still gets mad at her when she doesn't kiss him back.. And before anyone points out, I'll tell you myself. I've been there. Trust me. One sided Love hurts but the person I loved also had cancer and I could never even think of shoving him like that just because they didn't love me back. Please be safe and good, people. 🌃 And approach Love with a healthy mindset.
