You realize that the group in this film that framed Jeff's character in the end, did it as a stance against anything that says what they do is wrong. Its not about control as you would think. Its about finding something a challenge, and working through it. It motivates and gives them something to measure against and validate their beliefs and desires. You see what makes the bad guy a bad guy is the confrontation. They dont care about stuff that is already in their control, they are looking for the new resistance in which to measure themselves against. Evil isn't real. There is only self delusion.
