One of Xu Kai's best acting performance that played Han Ting's character really well. Pairing it up with the outstanding performance by his female lead, Tan Songyun playing the role of Ji Xing, a story that was really heart warming to watch. They both did a wonderful job, awesome chemistry between the two of them. The script and story were all well written, the sets, sceneries, where the drama was filmed were really of high quality, unlike some Chinese dramas, this can be compared to an international modern current time Kdrama quality. Love, love, love it❣️ I hope they will work on another drama in the near future again. Well done and excellent job to both Xu Kai and Tan Songyun 👍🏻

Unfortunately for JCW all the hype of such beautiful pairing with Kim Ji Won & the effort in making every frame of this drama look aesthetically appealing did not live up to viewers’ expectations in general. Plus, the chemistry between the leads is either overplayed ie: trying too hard that viewers do not feel it like how we did with Healer, K2, Suspicious Partner,and Melting Me Softly. In summary, the storylines & scripts are just simply & honestly predictable despite the director ‘s best effort of making it appear like a reality, documentary style Kdrama. However it fails to grab the attention of us as viewers now being spoiled by so many other choices of entertaining, unpredictable storyline, captivating scripts Kdrama that we will prefer to watch like for the newly released Mr Queen by TVN. Overall I’m really disappointed because JCW looked his very best in his appearance/visuals in this new drama but the producer & director didn’t make the most of it with such ideal & beautiful lead of KJW. I wish the storyline & rating will improve as more episodes have been released.

I love 💕 love 💖 love 💗 Melting Me Softly❣️ In my honest opinion, this is the best Kdrama Ji Chang Wook has ever done in depicting someone who is real not a fiction, cliche of an action super hero character like in Healer & K2. He really showcased his talent as an actor without having to kick up a sweat like he did with all his action Kdramas & movie, he showed a funny & comedy side of him that we only had a short glimpse of when he was playing his character in Suspicious Partner. I thought he did an excellent job despite some shortcomings in the storyline & script. The element that I adore 🥰 the most in this series is the love between his character Ma Don Chan & Won Ji Ah’s character Ko Mi Ran did not begin because of instant physical attraction that was based on lust “boom,bang, thank you mam” kind of storyline that is portraying immoral values of having pre-marital sex as the the norm because it draws in high viewing ratings, so many new Kdramas producers give in to such cheap trick to draw crowds that it becomes some how predictable. Unlike in this Kdrama it was love that was born out of going through similar trials & tribulations together that developed feelings for each other without them realising that it was happening. Initially I was not attracted to the series nor the characters because there were so many negative, vey harsh & unfair reviews that this drama received in the early days when it was just first released in Sep 2019, plus I didn’t know who Won Ji Ah was before I watched Melting Me Softly. I must say both JCW & WJA did such a great job making their love so pure & real that I was drawn into both of their characters & couldn’t stop watching the funny bits & their falling in love scenes again & again. WJA is a natural classic Korean beauty that is cute & petite but again unlike her many other Korean female lead ladies who have had many plastic surgeries that their faces appear so artificially pretty. However, her acting skills really caught my attention from the first few episodes. Mark my words she will be someone you all should look out for in future as her acting is the most captivating about her character rather than her appearance. I am now a big fan of WJA & started watching her old Kdramas “Between Lovers” that she won best new actress for in 2018. Lastly the original TV sound track of Melting Me Softly is another bonus & reason you should watch the series. As it is a compilation of very catchy tunes. My favourites are “Tell Me, Please” by Yoo Yeon Jung, “Fresh” by Hoody, “Sweet Couple”by Noh Yoo Rim and “When love passes by” by Ji Chang Wook❣️👍🏻❤️💕👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This is an unexpectedly entertaining & with a surprisingly in depth underlying strong message of embracing inclusion, multi cultural, respecting everyone as individuals, good old values of gratitude, giving & forgiving, humility, family and lastly helping others to give oneself the ultimate purpose of one’s life & true happiness. Touching twist to the end of the story that brought tears 😢to my eyes & true meaning to the whole movie. Great 👍🏻 movie despite all the sceptics & bad reviews by the critics. It is definitely a must watch 😉 Just watching the refreshing cast of Emilia Clark, Henry Golding, Emma Thompson & Michelle Yeoh to be in the same movie is worth your money & time. However, in true honesty I was hoping to see more romantic scenes between Emilia & Henry 😍 they both make a cute couple in the movie❣️ Love it 💕
