One of the best cop shows out there. IMHO The Wire is overrated to an extent, its the basic east coast - west coast rivalry as The Wire is set in Maryland while The Shield is set out of Farmington (fictional district) in L.A. Overall, walton goggings shows a class act (underrated actor), which he had continued in his subsequent projects like Justified. In and all, the best cop show ever, especially of you reminisce the early 2000s
