It happens almost every episode: About halfway through, I declare that I know who the killer is. Then, with about 15 minutes left, Vera proves me totally wrong and arrests the real criminal. Every. Single. Time.
It is among the very best crime dramas of all time. Miss Marple ain't got nothin' on DCI Vera Stanhope.

When I saw the privileged boy's doctor is a blond middle-aged woman with a sexy bedroom voice who encourages him to exercise shirtless in front of her, I could tell this flick wasn't going to get anywhere close to scaring me.
Germans haven't been very good with the horror genre. Not since Nosferatu (1922) at least.
