An inspiring read for any would-be cabin crew/flight attendants or in fact just an inspiring read full stop. Ms Waller encapsulates an age of when times were slower and more dignified in the world of air travel. Head back to 1957 whereby she takes you on a heartfelt journey of adventure and elegance of a woman who forged relationships with fellow crew and her passengers in a time when service, even on a small airline was as regal and professional as the big guns! As a crew member in 2021 I reference Ms Waller periodically. Yes there have been been massive changes in air travel and no it’s not the same as it was then (what ever is?) but the crux of providing great in-flight service to your passengers still rings true. I have read this book many times....one of my all time favourites in a time when airline tell-alls are a dime a dozen. Well written, informative and brimmed with an era of a time long ago.
