One of Oliver Stones best work, I think there were quite a few Oscar's for the movie in the 80s, and although not many people know much about the Vietnamese war, this movie shows a true version although not entirely. The story told by a young Charlie Sheen gives a gripping tale of the war from an honest perspective. It is worth watching... PLATOON is by far my best war movie..
