My Girlfriend’s Journal is not your traditional book. It is essentially a journal where the protagonist jots down all thoughts which take place in her mind. She is your typical 18-year-old who has a tough time in her life with studies and other stuff but finds solace in worshipping god. Being a very devoted Christian, she truly believes her Appa (Jesus) can solve her problems and give her peace of mind. She finds a boy who she has known for some time too feeling the same way as her about Jesus. Initially, I got fed up with the number of times she kept praising God, because of which I thought this book would bore me out. It seemed like a religious bible companion book rather than a novel. But later on, I realized something. Each person is different in the way they think, behave, act, etc. After I realized this, the book became interesting, and frankly, to say, I loved it. So I urge you to give this book a try, and I am sure you will feel the same way as me.

The author has given us 15 highly valuable tips to succeed in the marketing field, that is, if you follow them carefully. The author has structured the book in such a way that each chapter is a tip and you get an example of it, and he has also given us some questions at the end of each chapter to assess ourselves on how much we have understood each tip. I for one, though not in the marketing area, found these tips still useful in other parts of my life. The author himself is a Global Marketing and Branding expert in helping Fortune 500 companies unleash the power of insight-driven marketing. This book is practical, insightful, and full of golden information. I would recommend this book for MBA students too, as they can gain more in-depth knowledge of how the market works.
