I just want to ask a question. Why is this rated G? The cold isolating feel you get from every single shot is horrifying to me. I also love HAL as the main villain, because of how the special task he was given and his general function of relaying accurate information to the crew, and because of that he thought it logical to kill them off. I don't want to spoil exactly what that task was, and/or why it's important, and just say to go and watch it - if you can deal with its slow pace... or read the book if you're more of a reading person. Also, I checked some other reviews for this movie, and I found three reviews that were EXACTLY THE SAME. I noticed it when they all began with "I would call this movie my favorite film of all time it is an instant classic." Each of them were the same review, but one of them was rated one star, even though it said, as mentioned before, it was their favorite movie! It makes no sense! Is it a bot? Is it someone not being able to write their own review so they literally copied and pasted it? I have no Idea.
