Honestly, after the trailer, I wasn't expecting much. I had such low expectations but then I actually watched the movie and it was the most pleasant surprise. Will Smith's performance as the Genie is so different than William's yet he still managed to make the character so lovable while still putting he's own little touch to him. All the actors are absolutely incredible and it was a movie worth watching, as it brought back so many childhood memories.

This movie, even though it is not the type of movie I usually go for, was quite a roller-coaster. First of all, the acting of each actor was absolutely incredible, especially the two leads: Nicole Kidman and Sebastian Stan. I have watched many movies from both Kidman and Stan and I can tell you that their performances here were so much different from anything they have done before. They really went all out and gave this story their best. As for the story, I must say there is a great twist that I didn't expect, and the director has done a great job with the overall mood and tone of the movie. It's a very interesting movie.

This movie is beautifully creepy, and it was a great adaptation of the book. Everyone's acting was amazing but I must admit that Sebastian Stan's creepy take on the character really made this movie an incredible mystery. Definitely worth the watch!!
