I watched Combat from age 9-14. And here I am now 66 watching it over and over, watching reruns many nights. There was always a message, and though there is a lot of killing, I find it to be a great adventure show. It was a completely unique idea, having a group of Americans doing what they did. I especially like Sargeant Saunders, Vic Morrow. He was outstanding in his swagger and in how he played his part. As I have watched this show lately, I am running across episodes that I never saw before, nor that I have seen since I have been watching it again and again. What a treat that they have been!
