It doesn’t hold a candle to the original Road House with Patrick Swayze and Sam Elliott.

I have to admit that I am a big Brie Larson fan. However, this show is more dynamic and complex than one might perceive on the surface. If you look beyond the basic elements of the show you clearly see many of the factors that were present in the 1950’s. I must say that having been born in Southern US in 1955 many of these elements were present for me to see. And in hindsight they were quite disturbing. So far there is a lot of truth in the episodes thus far. Simply my opinion nothing more or less.

This is my third time watching it. I believe it is one of best WW2 Pacific Theater movies.

I’m a very big Benedict Cumberbatch fan and I truly enjoyed the movie.

It was compelling and wonderful to watch.

Very true to the book in majority.

It is one of my favorite westerns.
