What was portrayed in the show was nothing like her life in the real world. Based on news articles, gossip columns, interviews, this family was ghetto, no morals or values, every problem was taken care of streetwise. She was horrible to her kids, etc. The show is disappointing. There's another series or movie which best describes Jenni, but this one sucks.
