I read a lot of science fiction growing up, including most of Asimov's robot novels and short stories. But I never read the (then) Foundation trilogy. I'm pretty sure that's why I loved this series. Beautifully acted, wonderfully designed...maybe a little too much technobabble and some hard-to-swallow plot devices, but A for effort.
