Based on my knowledge, the storyline stays pretty true to what we believe is the history. There aren't any cheap sexual side stories occurring simultaneously. I think the acting is well done. The story does a good job showing that the politics, public sentiment, the charges and trial, and the actual hunt for Booth, were a lot more complicated than the storyline we were all taught in elementary school.

Wow. Genuinely funny. Very written and researched. The sets, clothes, mannerisms, behaviors, and speech all seem very authentic --from what I remember of the actual era. Can't say enough good about this show.
