I love it. It's about extreme emotional violence and (Catholic) guilt. It is not only disturbing to watch but a very haunting visual treat. The scene of Charlotte Gainsbourg running into the forest in the middle of the night and masturbating is as scary as the one of Jack Nicholson looking blankly demonic from his typewriter in Kubrick's The Shining. A one-of-a-kind film - extraordinary.
